Meet Your Doula
Hi, I’m Rochelle — though most people call me Shelly — and I’ve had the joy of calling the Medford area home my entire life. My career path has taken a few turns over the years: I’ve run a daycare, worked with students with special needs in the public school system, and even spent a decade as a freight broker. While each chapter taught me something valuable, none of them truly fulfilled me.
After many heartfelt conversations with my daughter (who’s also a doula!) and a lot of soul-searching, I found my calling — and being a doula truly makes my heart sing.
As a doula, I’m not just offering a service — I’m offering peace, presence, and hands-on support during one of the most sacred and vulnerable times in a woman’s life.
I love working closely with individuals and families, honoring their unique needs and preferences. You may have heard the phrase “ignorance is bliss” — but when it comes to pregnancy and birth, I believe knowledge is power. I’m here to guide you every step of the way, helping you feel informed, supported, and confident throughout your journey.
I also collaborate with a trusted network of birth professionals, including doulas, midwives, OBs, and IBCLCs, fostering a community that empowers new parents and so that you’re never alone. Together, we can navigate this journey with confidence and care.
This is a no-judgment zone, so please don’t hesitate to reach out with your questions — even the ones you think might be silly (I promise, they’re not!). I’d love to meet you and offer a free consultation — don’t be shy, let’s connect.

" Rochelle was an amazing Postpartum Doula, she provided support to help us get back on our feet and feeling comfortable in our home again after having a baby. When we ran out of our formula, a brand you could only get online, she was able to find a can for us which was a literal life saver because our baby’s stomach was so sensitive on other formula. From helping around the house, providing knowledge around being new parents and resources around the community, spending time with our baby and just being a familiar face to have conversation with, we are very thankful for the services and time Rochelle provided. " I’m so grateful for the support I received from Rochelle during my first 6 weeks postpartum. My breast feeding journey was extremely time consuming and doing anything around the house became impossible. Rochelle helped with house hold tasks like dishes and laundry but the biggest help was her doing meal prep. Having meals and snacks that were ready to go was a life saver. All of her help gave me the time I needed to focus on upping my supply and bonding with my baby. "

" 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I had the privilege of working with Rochelle as my doula during labor, delivery, and post-partum. I am eager to express my gratitude for her exceptional support. Rochelle is an exceptionally kind and compassionate individual. Her calming presence, positive reassurance, and expert coaching significantly enhanced my labor and delivery experience. We were fortunate to have her as part of my birthing journey, which substantially contributed to my positive hospital experience. ''
